SkyPro’s market position on this one is “See, Groove and Improve”, and after reviewing this swing analyzer, it’s easy to see where they’re coming from. Although swing analyzers represent something of a quantum skypro golf swing analyzer review leap in terms of technology, there is nothing revolutionary about the benefits of actually being able to see and analyze your own swing.
After all, in the absence of doing so, taking advice or incorporating suggested swing changes from a coach isn’t easy to execute if you don’t have a clear picture in your mind of how it all looks.
SkyGolf SkyPro Golf Swing Analyzer
Our Assessment
The first thing we were struck by with the SkyPro Swing Analyzer, in addition to how easy it is to set up, was how versatile it was. Whether you’re a Sunday hacker or a professional looking to further hone your skills, this device really has a lot to offer.
Swing speed and swing path information are freely and quickly relayed each time you wield the club, and you can easily dig a little deeper if you’re after some more detailed insight and feedback. Of course it is the Groove area of the app which we liked most (not least the Groove Medals!). You really can drill down on specifics with this feature. In total, we hit 50 balls with it on the range, and it only missed 4 swings, which is pretty impressive too
Pros
The Groove feature is a great way to ingrain good habits in terms of swing speed, length, shaft lean at impact and much more
So quick and easy to set up and use, and there is plenty of data available here
They’ve nailed it with the play back in terms of variable speeds, making comparisons with other swings, zoom etc.
Very competitively priced
Cons
Disappointing that it doesn’t show whether the face is open or closed at impact (except for putting)
